A “sequentia” for the Ascension transcribed from the Trent manuscripts tr93. The notes’ values and colourings are as in the manuscript, the coloured notes are “hemiolæ” and the notes within square brackets are an editorial addition to fill three missing “mensuræ”. The time signature is missing in both the voices, the “tempus perfectum” has been assumed from the context. Only the “a” part. see the text section below. of the verses and the last verse have the polyphonic setting, for the first and the “b” part of the verses the Gregorian melody should be used. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows. the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves, th right downstemmed notes are longæ.
