"Manta Rays are a big fish with large heads and with eyes fixed on the sides of their heads. They can grow as wide as 23 feet, which is twice as wide as they are long. They have triangular horn-shaped fins, and their mouths are shaped like a large, forward-facing rectangle which is used to suck in food that their fins propel into their path as they swim. Manta Rays eat 13% of their body weight in zooplankton each week. Manta Rays live either close to the coast, or they can be found roaming the open seas. Their skin is a deep black or dark color with pale markings near the front fins.
