In this piece the melody is challenged by angularity and counterpoint, and the frevo groove is reshaped by odd meters. Jazz harmony and improvisation are also incorporated in the structure of this piece featuring the tenor and soprano saxophones, and it can be expanded to have piano, bass and guitar solos.
