Extra Information The earliest title pages specify the instrumentation as "pour Saxophone Alto, ou Alto et Orchestre". That line was later revised to "pour Saxophone, Alto, ou Violon, et Orchestre". The alternate solo instrument parts were published around the same time: 1919 for the viola solo part, and 1924 for the violin solo part.
