After 'Beauty and the Beast' the Walt Disney Studios produced another very successful cartoon late in 1993. 'Aladdin' was of course inspired by the famous fairy tale from the eternal evergreen collection 'Thousand and one Nights'. The producers, well aware of the saying 'never give up a winning horse', once more invited the composers Menken and Ashman to write the soundtrack music. In this most enjoyable selection, made by Willy Hautvast, you will recognize succesively 'Arabian Nights', 'Friend like Me','One Jump ahead',the popular title song 'A Whole New World' and finally 'Prince Ali'.
