This is a truly great piece to play, very clever, playful, melodic and fun! It's also very well playable even with a Bb clarinet used instead of the Eb clarinet - in this case the highest tone is an a3 and the whole part is not so hard to learn as it would seem at first sight.
Our clarinet group in Portland, Oregon (USA) played this and liked it. A very well written piece with lots of interest. We will perform it soon at a "Classical Revolution PDX Chamber Jam", a group of musicians who bring chamber music to the common person.
